Bespoke Controller Customer Example #1
|
|
In the diagram above which is part of an actual layout, signals A and B are starter signals
at the end of an island platform. They are controlled by a Junction module MRE 020-403
which we will call module one.

Signal C is one of two controlled by module two, in this case it is an MRE 020-308.
Signal E is controlled by module three, also an MRE 020-308.

Trains leaving the platforms at A and B can, depending on the setting of point three, route either to signal C or signal E.
Therefore, the colour displayed will depend upon the output of either module 2 or 3 as appropriate.

A further complication is that trains entering the station from signal D can arrive at signals A and B,
wrong line working. If the points are set in this way, then signals A and B must be held at red.

Trains leaving the platforms at A and B can, depending on the setting of point three,
route either to signal C or signal E. The custom module in this case monitors points 2,3,4,4A,7,8
and 13 and receives inputs from modules two and three. It then provides the necessary output to module one.

Separate custom modules would be required for each of signals D, F and V.
