| The diagram above shows the track plan for which this module is intended. |
| It can be used whenever a branch diverges from the mainline. |
| The branch is shown turning to the right crossing an opposing track. |
| |
| The input buses, shown in green, connect to the modules driving the signals 1 and 2. |
| In this case an MRE 020-336. The output bus shown in red connects to the module |
| driving signal 3. In this case an MRE 020-332. |
| There would one further MRE 020-332 module driving signals 4 & 5. |

| When points 1 & 2 are set straight, Signal 3 will follow signal 1 condition |
| and signal 4 will follow signal 5 condition. |
| When point 1 is set to the branch, signal 4 is held at red and signal 3 follows signal 2 condition. |
| If signal 2 is any colour but red, the route indicator lights. |
| When point 1 is set straight and point 2 is set to the branch, signal 4 is held at red but signal 3 follows signal 1 condition. |
